This is a painting of a baby giraffe in a rescue park in Kenya, Africa. A friend of mine took this great picture while she was on a mission trip there and I fell in love with her. I also did an abstract of her called "Abstract Annie"

"Victoria Hudson"

"Victoria Hudson"
16x20 oil on mixed media gesso board, nfs, 2009
This was my last painting in 2009 and this was an experiment of several different media. I took a gesso board and covered it in modeling paste and then used ink to get the brownish/yellow background. I sprayed it with acrylic sealer and then used purple oil paint to accomplish the see-through look of her face.
